🌻English Summer School – Week 4: Elementary Class Highlights!🌻
At Summer School at Zoo-phonics Academy, students learn each week’s theme through activities and crafts conducted entirely in English.
The theme for Week 4 was "Games Around the World".🎲🌎
While learning about various countries and cultures, we also learned about the games played in each of those countries.
Japan has many different traditional games, but we discovered that countries around the world have games we’ve never heard of, as well as games that are similar to Japanese ones.
The children participated with great interest!👏
During the crafts activity, the children made toys used in games from different countries and then actually played with the toys they had created.⏲🎲🤗
In the elementary class, there is also time dedicated to learning phonics, with students grouped according to their level.
The children eagerly learned the rules and sounds of phonics using body signals together with the teacher!😊

サマースクールでは毎週決まったテーマについて、英語で行われるアクティビティや工作等を通して学んでいきます。
Week4のテーマは"Games Around the World".🎲🌎
様々な国、文化を学びながら、それぞれの国の遊びについても学びました。
日本にもさまざまな遊びがありますが、世界中の国には、私たちが知らないような遊びがあったり、日本の遊びに似ている遊びがあったりと、子どもたちはとても興味深そうに参加していましたよ！👏
工作では自分たちで様々な国の遊びで使うおもちゃを作り、実際にそのおもちゃで遊びました。⏲🎲🤗
小学生クラスでは、レベル分けをしフォニックスを学ぶ時間もあります。
子どもたちは、先生と一緒にボディシグナルをしながらフォニックスのルールと音を一生懸命学んでいました！😊
