Field Trip to IMAGINUS Koenji🌼
We went on a field trip with our preschoolers the other day.
We visited IMAGINUS, located in Koenji.
IMAGINUS is a facility created by repurposing a closed elementary school.
It's a place where children can have fun while learning and experiencing science firsthand.👩🔬
First, we participated in a workshop.
Using various types of tea, the children experienced how the color changes when sugar or lemon is added.☕ They were amazed to see how the colors changed as they mixed the ingredients!
After that, we attended a show called the "Science Experience Lab," where children can enjoy science through an engaging storyline. A variety of experiments were conducted, and the children were both surprised and delighted by the experience!
STEM and SDGs are important themes in our preschool program. Although they may seem difficult at first glance,
they are actually a familiar part of our everyday lives. And they are essential for creating a better future world.
We wanted the children to experience this and feel that learning about these topics can be fun! That's why we chose this facility as our field trip destination.
Later on, we had a reflection time at school to look back on what we experienced during the trip.👏

プリスクール生の遠足に行ってきました！🌼高円寺にあるIMAGINUS（イマジナス）へ行ってきました。
IMAGINUSは、閉校となった小学校を再利用して作られた施設で、こどもたちが楽しみながら科学を学び、体験できる施設です👩🔬
まずは、ワークショップに参加。
様々な種類のお茶を使って、砂糖やレモンを加えることで生じる色の変化を体験しました。☕
ミックスすることで色が変わっていく変化に、子どもたちは驚いていました！
その後は、「科学体験ラボ」という、ストーリーの中で楽しく科学を体験できるショーに参加しました。
様々な実験が行われ、子どもたちは驚きながらもとても楽しそうにしていましたよ！
プリスクールプログラムの重要なテーマであるSTEMとSDGs。一見難しそうに感じられますが、私たちの生活のいたるところにある身近な存在ですよね。そして、これからの世界をより良くしていくために、欠かせないものです。
それを子どもたちにも体験してほしい、楽しい！と感じてほしい！と思い、この施設を遠足の行先として選びました。
後日スクールにて、遠足で体験したことを振り返る時間がありました👏
