Greetings from Zoo-phonics Academy Totsuka school!
先週は2025年度初めての授業参観がありました！ミッシーマウスクラスからディーディーディアクラスまで各クラスそれぞれ授業参観が定期的にございます！保護者様も日々ズー・フォニックスでどのように過ごしているのか、どれぐらい英語力がついてきたのかなど確認できる機会となっております。
We had our first Parent Obsevation Day in 2025. Each classes will invite their parents to observe our classes couple times per year. This is a great opportunity for the parents to see how their children are spenting time at our school and their progress in their English as well!
※年中＆年長クラスのサークルタイム/Our circle time with DD1&DD2
ディーディーディアクラスでは朝のサークルタイムからズーフォニックスタイムまでの授業を行いました。年長クラスになるとフォニックスとシグナルはほぼ身についているので、ディーディー2クラスではさらにジャーナル(作文)なども保護者様の前で行いました！
In our Deedee deer class, we showed the parents our circle time and zoo-phonics time. By the time they are in DD2, their sounds and signals are perfect, so DD2 students wrote some journals in front of their parents as well!

ロビーラビットクラスの授業参観のテーマはWild(野生) Day！ということでそれぞれ好きな動物について調べてきてもらいました。授業参観では保護者様の前で動物の特徴などを英語でプレゼンし、保護者と一緒にゲームなどを行いました！この記事のカバー画像は授業参観後参加された保護者様と撮った記念撮影の写真です。
Robby Rabbit class had a theme for our observation day. Their theme was Wild Day!, so each students researched about their favorite animals, and they presented what they learned in front of their parents! They played some game with their parents after their presentation as well. Cover picture for this article is the photo of our Robby Rabbit class along with their parents in the observation days.

ミッシーマウスクラスではまだ新学期始まって数か月ですが、ほとんどの生徒達がはそわそわしながらも泣かずに授業に参加できました！まだまだ日々のルーティンに皆慣れていっている段階なので、泣いたり、保護者様のところに行ってしまう子もいらっしゃいますが、定期的に授業参観を行うことによって子供達も慣れていき、成長が見れるのも一つの楽しみかと思います。
It's only been couple months since the school started, but most of our Missy students did great job without crying! Of course, we had couple students crying when they see their parents, but they are still getting used to our daily routine. By having couple observation days every year, parents will be able to see their childs progress as they get used to it as well.
ズー・フォニックス・アカデミーでは授業参観に加えて、年に2度アセスメントテスト及び保護者様との個人面談も行っておりますので、授業参観以外でも普段の様子や学習面の進捗や成長過程などを相談、お伝えする機会もあります！
At Zoo-phonics Academy, we also have an assessment and one on one meetings with the parents. We tell the parents the progress of their child and how they are doing at school as well.
