🌏Culture Day🌎
The other day, on the final day of the first semester at our preschool, we held Culture Day!😊
This month’s theme was “Culture.” Culture Day, which aims to promote cross-cultural understanding, gave the children an opportunity to experience various countries and cultures.🌼
The children in the MM class performed a traditional Chinese dance, while the children in the R
R and DD classes performed traditional dances from Africa and the Philippin es. Each child also took on a specific country and introduced its capital city, food, interesting cultural practices, and customs.👏
After the performances, we held a potluck with foods from each country the children represented, joined by their parents.🍕🌮🥘🍴
It turned out to be a fun and enriching opportunity to learn about food, dance, and languages from around the world, and everyone seemed to really enjoy participating!
At Zoo-phonics Academy Preschool, we host many events and activities that expose children not only to Japanese culture but also to cultures from around the world.🌎
By experiencing new cultures, their horizons expand more and more.
We have many more events planned, so we’ll be sharing more with you soon!🌻
先日、プリスクールの１学期最終日に、カルチャーデイを実施しました！🌎
今月のテーマは”文化”。
異文化理解を最大の目的としたカルチャーデイは、子どもたちがさまざまな国や文化に触れる機会となりました🌼
MMクラスの子どもたちは中国、RRとDDの子どもたちはアフリカとフィリピンの伝統的なダンスを披露してくれたり、それぞれの子どもたちが一つの国を担当し、その国の首都や食べ物、興味深い文化や慣習などを紹介してくれました👏
パフォーマンスの後は、担当の国の食べ物を持ち寄り、お父さんお母さんも一緒にポットラックを実施しました🌮🥘🍴
世界中の国の食べ物や踊り、言語について学ぶとても良い楽しい機会となったようで、皆さまとても楽しそうに参加してくださいました！
ズーフォニックスアカデミーのプリスクールでは、日本の文化のみならず世界中の文化に触れられるような行事やイベントをたくさん実施しています🌎
新しい文化に触れることで視野がどんどん広がっていきますね。
この先も様々なイベントを予定していますので、またご紹介します！
