サマーフェスティバルを開催しました

先日、サマーフェスティバルを開催しました。

ゲームや屋台、クラフトなど、日本の夏祭りならではのアクティビティを通して、子どもたちは季節の文化に親しみながら、友達や先生と楽しい時間を過ごしました。 


夏祭りを楽しむ

さまざまなゲームや屋台を体験し、それぞれが興味を持ったアクティビティに意欲的に参加していました。友達と一緒に挑戦したり、順番を待ちながら楽しんだりする姿も見られ、教室内は笑顔と活気に包まれていました。


 


お神輿と風鈴づくり

子どもたちは、みんなで力を合わせてお神輿を担ぎ、お部屋の中を元気いっぱいに練り歩きました。





クラフトでは、夏の風物詩である風鈴づくりに取り組みました。色や飾りを一つひとつ選びながら、それぞれの感性を生かした作品が完成し、個性あふれる風鈴が並びました。


 



ゆったりとした午後の時間

午後は映画鑑賞を行い、午前中とは異なる落ち着いた雰囲気の中で、ゆったりとした時間を過ごしました。活動の余韻を楽しみながら、一日を締めくくる穏やかなひとときとなりました


  



サマーフェスティバルは、子どもたちが日本の夏の文化や伝統に親しみながら、季節を感じる貴重な機会となりました。

これからも季節ごとの行事を大切にし、一人ひとりの興味や好奇心を育みながら、豊かな学びのつながる体験を積み重ねていきます。

 We recently held our Summer Festival, giving children the opportunity to experience the traditions of a Japanese summer festival.

Through a variety of activities, including games, festival booths, and crafts, the children enjoyed spending time with their friends and teachers while learning about seasonal Japanese culture.


Enjoying the Summer Festival

The children enthusiastically participated in a variety of games and festival booths, choosing activities that sparked their interest. They enjoyed challenging themselves, taking turns, and sharing the experience with their friends, creating a lively atmosphere filled with smiles and excitement.


Mikoshi Parade & Wind Chime Craft

Working together, the children proudly carried a traditional mikoshi (portable shrine) as they paraded around the classroom.

For their craft activity, they created colorful Japanese wind chimes, a symbol of summer in Japan. By carefully selecting colors and decorations, each child expressed their creativity and completed a unique piece of craft.


A Relaxing Afternoon

In the afternoon, the children enjoyed watching a movie together. It was a calm and relaxing way to end the day, giving everyone the chance to reflect on the fun memories they had created throughout the festival.


Learning Through Seasonal Experiences

The Summer Festival provided a meaningful opportunity for the children to experience Japanese summer traditions and deepen their appreciation of seasonal culture.

We will continue to celebrate seasonal events throughout the year, providing experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
