Totsuka

こんにちは。ズー・フォニックス・アカデミー戸塚校です！
暑さが一段と厳しくなりましたね。ズー・フォニックス・アカデミーではサマースクールも終わり、講師達も一段落ついて2学期に向けて準備期間となりました。
Greetings from Zoo-phonics Academy Totsuka School!
Here in Japan, heat is getting more intense than before. At Zoo-phonics Academy, summer school ended, and teachers are taking break and preparing for the new semester.
戸塚校ではインターナショナルスクール含め、午後の小学生や幼稚園児クラスもサマースクール後から２週間ほど夏休みでレッスンなどはお休みとなります。
ただ戸塚校ではインターナショナルスクールの生徒向けに長期休暇中、サマースクールが終わった後の１週間、朝からのお預かりサービスを実施しております。朝からズーにいるので、普段できない遊びを先生達が用意しています！
At Totsuka school, all of our classes, including our elementary and kindergarten classes, are off for 2 weeks.
But at Totsuka school, we have special long care program for 1 week after summer school for international students. Long care is available from morning from 8AM to 6PM. Long care teachers have prepared some unique activities for the children since this is special time outside of their classes.

最近厳しい暑さが続いておりましたので、今回のロング保育では皆で水鉄砲で水遊びを行いました！普段中々水遊びをインターでやることは少ないので、皆大はしゃぎ！ただ今回一番気合いが入っていたのはどうやら先生だったようです。ロング担当のMr. Yoheiは初日から水着を持参し、準備万端！皆からの集中砲火で帰った来た際は誰よりもびしょびしょでした！
We have been experiencing extreme heat over this summer, so we went out to the park to have some watergun fight with our teachers! Students were all excited since they don't have many times to play with waters during their regular classes. Actually, it wasn't only students excited about this. Mr. Yohei, one of our long care staff, had his swimsuit ready from day 1 and all ready to go! Everyone was locked on to Mr. Yohei, so he was one of the wettest people when they were all back!

さてこの夏もう一つ戸塚校で気になるのはディーディーディアクラスが植えたアサガオの様子ですよね。
サマースクール中は花はまだ咲いておりませんでしたが、このロング保育期間中に最初の１輪が咲きました！カナダに一時帰国中のMr. Danielにも報告し、生徒も先生も喜んでおりました！２学期始まった時も咲いているといいね！
Well, other news that everyone hope is curious about is the latest of our morning glories that our Deedee deer friends planted before the summer. It didn't bloom during the summer school period, but we were able to check our first blooming morning glory during the special long care period! We reported to Mr. Daniel, who were back in Canada during the break, about the flower, and all students and teachers were excited about the news! We hope there will be more blooming flowers when we are back for the second semester of the international school!
